...The Phantom Queen Awakes...
Morrígan Books sees the return of the phantom queen, that lover of war and destruction coming to make dark fiction that bit darker. We are committed to furthering the field of dark fiction and it starts here and it starts now!
We are still in our early days, but we’re signing on authors, working with editors and are intent on becoming a force in the market. We want to promote new and established authors and editors in the speculative fiction genre, and are teaming up with them in order to produce high quality literature.

Morrígan Books' first novella, The Even, written by Northern Irish writer Tammy Moore, will be published mid-September, 2008.
Gary McMahon's collection of short stories, How to Make Monsters, is to be released by Morrígan Books late 2008/early 2009. Gary has recently been included in Ellen Datlow's Best Horror and Fantasy and also Stephen Jones' Best New Horror anthologies. How to Make Monsters will feature both new and previously published work.
